Opening Conference – CSRD: From Compliance to Action, Staying the Course on Our Shared Environmental and Social Goals
The implementation of the CSRD Directive marked a turning point in corporate non-financial transparency, before the Omnibus and Stop the Clock directives reshuffled the deck.
While these relaxations are primarily intended to ease companies’ administrative burden, they raise questions about Europe’s ambition and the resources it is committing to achieve its environmental and social transition goals. This roundtable will bring together experts from the economic and institutional ecosystem to address the following questions:
-
What impact will these adjustments have on CSR practices? Why do some companies continue to choose transparency, convinced that it is a driver of attractiveness and competitiveness? How can you maintain your reporting efforts—even beyond mandatory requirements—to stay on course?
A practical and insightful conference to understand why non-financial reporting remains essential.

Keynote - Peaceful construction sites in Paris: from dream to reality?
Construction sites are an inherent part of city life: they shape urban landscapes with their cranes, fences, and trucks, contributing to cities’ adaptation and the improvement of urban well-being. Yet, construction sites also disrupt: with the noise, dust, and disruptions they create, they are often perceived as a nuisance by local residents.
However, solutions do exist to improve the acceptance and sustainability of construction projects: reusing and storing excavated soil, managing logistics and traffic flows, using quieter electric machinery… all actions that require strong political will and the operational commitment of every stakeholder involved in urban works.
In partnership with Enedis, this conference will explore the following questions: why and how can these levers be effectively activated? What shared priorities can help make construction sites genuinely more bearable? And what tools and resources can be provided to project managers and local authorities to move from good intentions to tangible results?

Workshop - Understanding Large Language Models: What They Are, What They’re Not, and How to Use Them Effectively
This workshop demystifies large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
We will explore how these models are structured, why they cannot be considered artificial general intelligence (AGI), and what limitations they currently face (e.g., hallucinations, bias, lack of self-awareness).
The second part will focus on practical applications: how LLMs can be effectively implemented in personal and professional life. From writing assistance and task automation to business planning and productivity enhancement, participants will discover concrete ways to integrate AI into their daily workflows. No technical background is required. The session is designed to be accessible, informative, and interactive for a general audience.

Pitch - Rethinking the user experience for adult education courses in Paris with new tools
DASCO and DSIN are working on providing a range of adult education courses comprising three types of programs (French, foreign languages, and vocational training). These courses represent a very dense ecosystem with approximately 27,000 enrolled students, 60,000 applications, 700 training programs, and 1,800 sessions.
In terms of tools, adult education courses are managed using three applications (management software – Atlas, registration website, and distance learning tool). These digital solutions were redesigned in 2011 and 2012. Since then, needs have evolved, particularly with the development of distance learning courses, the interfacing between different applications and payment or scheduling software, and data reporting. These applications are open to a wide range of users: managers (e.g., City of Paris, HR, etc.), auditors, school principals, trainers, and others.
Management has two needs:
– Facilitating the user journey to better match the available offering with existing demand or target audiences (currently, high enrollment demand does not apply to all training courses, some of which are little known or not geared toward the right target audience)
– Identifying and testing new application publishing tools. -
